This lip butter is a liquid lip balm and the shade Dolce Nude is a pretty brownish nude shade with a bit of shimmer. It's pretty easy to control how much comes out of the tube and it applies very well. One concern I often have with tinted lip balms is how well the colour spreads. I find that tinted lip balms can often look super patchy. This one wasn't patchy at all though! Just a really nice wash of brown. I did not find the shimmer super noticeable though. Although, fair enough, I'm not sure that would match the subtle vibes for this.
This SCENT though. I am so obsessed. It smells exactly like caramel. They matched this scent so so well and it fits so perfectly with this brownish lip balm. Applying this is such a good experience because of this yummy scent.
Of course, this lip butter does actually work great at being a lip butter. I don't have to apply it very often and it keeps my lips nice and hydrated.
