I received the Shea Moisture Amla Oil Bond Repair Leave-in Conditioner complimentary in exchange for my honest review through TopBox Marketing. It has been a while since I used a leave-in conditioner that was not a spray, so I was excited to try this one out. This Leave-in conditioner is a thick cream formula that provides plenty of moisture to the hair. I generally style my hair by scrunching it with leave-in conditioner, curling jelly, oil and hairspray, and find it a little difficult to make sure I have this evenly distributed without raking through my hair too much and disturbing its curl pattern. For that reason, I much prefer this leave in when I blow my hair out and straighten it. When straightened it helps to weigh down my coarse hair and keep it from having too much volume. My frizz is maintained and my style stays sleek. Also, the scent is light and does not linger in the hair, which I prefer as not to compete with my perfume. I will switch back to my spray leave-in conditioner for when I leave my hair naturally wavy and use this for when I wear my hair straight.
