It can be a little drying. It also takes quite a long time to completely rinse it off- it has a kind of rough texture where you can feel the little bits of whatever is in there that exfoliates your hair/scalp, and as a result, you really have to spend a bit of time making sure it’s all out of your hair.

It does a great job cleaning any buildup that might have accumulated from other products on your scalp. Besides that it smells absolutely delicious (I got the Yuzu scented one). It’s a great treatment to use once a week.
