I was honestly excited to try this based on the fact that it’s pink with a lotion like texture. I imagined it’d feel great on my skin. I’ve been using this twice a day for over a week. It gets nice and frothy. I’ve had no problems with it leaving me with tight or dry skin and no irritation. It actually makes my skin soft and smooth.
The scent took some getting used to. Maybe I do not like the smell of hibiscus, but it shocked me so bad the first time that I thought something was wrong. I thought it had gone rancid or something. I decided to try it again and it was better. After that, I think the scent is ok, tolerable. If asked to describe the scent, I’d say it has an earthy, herbal type smell. I can’t say I love it, but it isn’t repulsive anymore. I accept it also because I know there’s no fragrance added, it’s natural.
