I have a love-hate relationship with this product, but let's begin with the positive aspects. I tried the variant #01 Perfect Lash, as my previous mascara was a complete failure, leaving my lashes drooping. A content creator I follow recommended this, claiming it improved her mediocre mascaras.
It did work initially, providing a lasting effect when used alone. When used as a primer, it noticeably volumized lashes when applying a good mascara on top.
The tube packaging is just okay, and while it has a slight chemical smell, it's not overpowering and doesn't linger during application.
The product starts smooth but becomes rough and tacky as it sets, ensuring the mascara applied afterward adheres well.
Now, onto the drawbacks:
It falls short in maintaining my lash curl for an extended period, especially when paired with problematic mascaras. Despite being a fixer designed to enhance less effective mascaras, it struggles to provide long-lasting curl support.
Additionally, due to the product's white color, applying it on lashes without mascara can result in an unflattering appearance, as the white tint becomes visible. However, it's worth noting that the product isn't intended for standalone use in this manner.
I might not repurchase this since I already have good mascaras that don't need any fixer or primer.
