I have oily scalp and there is product build-up that happens. I also have been going through post-partum hair loss. I've tried multiple hair care products to find what would work for me the best. I recently tried the rootist line of products and feel it works well for my thin straight hair.
I use the Rootist AHA+ACV Pre-shampoo scalp clarifying rinse before stepping into the shower. I apply the clarifying rinse directly to the scalp after partitioning my hair, using the nozzle tip and massage it well. After that I leave it on for about 10-12 minutes although the direction says 12-15 min. Once it's 12 min or so, I follow it up with shampoo and conditioner. I noticed that this doesn't dries up my scalp or makes it itchy similar to how some of the other pre-wash i've tried in the past. This pre-shampoo scalp treatment gently exfoliates without stripping moisture.
I like the fact that the packaging of this is made in a manner with the pre-nozzle to make it user friendly and it makes it easy to apply.
