MyoLift QT Plus Facial Toning Device

product review positives
⚠️This is a review of the MyoLift QT, not the new QT PLUS. I paid for this device myself in 2021. (I won't go into what micocurrent is or what it can do, there's so much research and information that's available on google if you'd like to know. I'll just go straight into my experience.) I am 34 as of 2/27/2024. This device has a "Stretch" modality that is great for the tightness of the muscles that cause puckering around the upper lip and chin, and also great for the lines and divots that form from furrowing eyebrows. It also can be used around the orbital bone of the eyeballs. It also has a "Lift" modality that does feel different from Stretch, and is for exercising the muscles in the neck, under the jaw, above the jaw, and up to the temple. It's also good to lift the eyebrows. After 3-5 treatments I notice: 💖 lifted jawline, stronger jawline 💖 slightly narrower face 💖 less divot between brows I love microcurrent because of this device. It utilizes up to 400 microamps, so really, it's not that strong, at least for me. The DMA/ELV mode of the Tripollar Vx is actually too strong even at the lowest level. It feels like it punches me in the face and I would say it actually hurts. So, this microcurrent compared to that is nothing. Stretch feels like a kind of pulsed squeezing of your muscles, like they're clenching, and the Lift mode feels like strong internal bursts of zappy taps. It only will ever feel more surface zappy if there's not enough conduction gel (aloe gel, ultrasound gel, brand gels). ✨I honestly have recently started using our tap water because it contains impurities that conduct current for this device and I feel it works quite well. With gels, you typically need to rinse them off after treatment unless the instructions on the gel specifically say you don't need to.
product review negatives
The first QT I purchased turned on and off with an incredibly loud, screechy speaker in the device. It was crackly sounding and just terrible. I returned it and was refunded and they sent me one that was not broken lol ❌ However, the replacement speaker was still VERY loud and annoying. Anytime I turn it on or turn it off, I hold thumb down over the touch button and the handle and then quickly jam the bottom of the device into my body to try and mute the sound of the speaker as much as possible. It's stupid. ❌ I will also say that the device doesn't hold a great charge. Who knows if the newest model is better in terms of the speaker volume and the charge duration, but again, this is what I know of their first, original handheld QT device. ❌ Also, if you can see in my clip of my device, it's cracked at the probes. I don't know why this would happen. You can't turn them tighter anymore than they already are. It's cracked on the top at the probes and on the underside where it's actually missing chunks of plastic. So far, though, the device still functions normally. ✨So, though I love this device, I'm actually going to try the Foreo Bear Mini and the Foreo Bear 2 very soon. Hopefully. My Bear 2 has been lost the last two weeks, but hopefully it gets to me. As for the Bear Mini, I found one on Mercari for $46 and HOPEFULLY that arrives much sooner than the Bear 2 😖 Anyway, I love microcurrent, but aside from the "Stretch" mode of the MyoLift device, I'm looking for microcurrent from other devices now.
