Hudabeauty #Fauxfilter Colour Corrector is a colour correcting liquid created with the brand’s renowned #Fauxfilter concealer formula, to enhance the brightness and decrease the coverage, while correcting any discolouration and complexion concerns, for evening under the eye area.
The colour corrector is infused with a mix of vitamin C and niacinamide to brighten and soften pigmentation of the under the eye area.
This is the first time I use a colour corrector, in my quest for finding a good coverage for my uneven skin under the eyes, defined predominantly by dark circles. I chose the peach shade , out of the seven shades available, because this seemed to suit my skin concerns. The brand recommends the peach tone to cancel out darkness and pigmentation for warmer skin undertones.
I am happy with the performance of this colour corrector, it is easy to apply with its wide applicator, and thanks to its creamy texture it spreads well and blends into the skin creating an even tone. I have noticed my under eye area looking brighter, making my eyes look less tired.
I am also pleased with the fact that this colour corrector does not crease and it is sweat and transfer proof, which makes it last for a long time. I have used this colour corrector also on my face in areas with pigmentation and I have noticed that the liquid corrector does not clog pores.
The colour corrector is applied before any makeup. Foundation and concealer have a higher effect when I apply it on top of the colour corrector.
