- First of all, I hear they recently changed the formulation of this product to a gel and lots of people on the Sephora website are suddenly complaining of an allergic reaction to this product! Please read that first
- I am using the old formulation: the double creme.
- this cream is really thick. I would not consider it lightweight at all! Which allows it to be very hydrating. Perfect for dry skin. For me with combination skin, I apply it as a mask at night and wake up with really moisturized skin!
- packaging wise the tube is compact and the colour is pretty! The cream is orange coloured and is scented to smell like orange or citrusy. I don’t mind the smell and it goes away after a while
- I have noticed pilling under my makeup when I apply this during the day as well.
- I have dark under eyes, so I thought maybe applying it under my eyes would help brighten them but I haven’t seen much effect on that end. I also notice a very mild brightening effect of some of my hyperpigmentation or dark spots!
Overall, if you’re looking for a hydrating thick moisturizer to apply at night to seal your skincare, I would say this is a great option!!
