It has a nice lightweight satiny feel at first, but I do notice a subtle tightening effect once it dries. It's not too bothersome, especially when layering my other products, but I would not consider using it before bed. It does do a decent job of smoothing out my eye bags with a brightening effect. Overall, I would give it a 5 out of 10 for not being the best I've ever tried, but it's also certainly not the worst.
