I bought this product a few weeks ago, as I have some hyperpigmentation and dark spots that I wanted to get rid of.
- I’ve used the Holyoke Holika honey propolis serum before and had a good experience, so I thought I would try a new serum from them.
- the texture of this serum is nice. If you don’t over apply, it feels lightweight and layers well with other skincare. However, if you use a bit too much, it can feel slightly heavy.
- the packaging is pretty, I like the bright yellow colour! And the dropper is nice. The bottle is glass as well!
- this product has kiwi extract, niacinamide, ascorbic acid, and arbutun. I bought it because the ingredients list is very impressive, however unfortunately, I havnt noticed much of an effect on brightening any spots. I think there are more effective treatments out there
- I’ve recently incorporated this serum in my scarecate routine and I have been breaking out in random areas of my face. So I suspect that this is the culprit.
- the other thing is I havnt noticed any brightening effect despite the impressive ingredient list. I think I would prefer to try other brightening treatments
