I received this product for free from Picky and DR.G in exchange for my honest review. When I first heard about this product, I was estatic since I heard that it would help brighten my skin. I heard about the Propolis in the product and got excited since it would be my first time using such an ingredient. I absolutely love how the product comes with a little spatula. I didn’t see it coming but I find it absolutely adorable. I also love how all of the Dr.G products have braille on them. It warms my heart that they’ve included such a detail that could mean a lot to others. I haven’t come in contact with any product like it.
I didn’t use this product as much as I would’ve like since I found out that it had comedogenic ingredients. I’ve recently gotten rid of all skin care products that have comedogenic ingredients since I’ve started to breakout. This product contains two clogging ingredients. Sorbitan Oleate is created from compounds in oleic acid and sorbitol. It is used to stabilize a product by preventing ingredients from separating. May not be fungle acne safe. It can also worsen oily skin. Polyglyceryl-3-Diisostearate is an emulsifier and emollient. It comes from Isostearic Acid and Polyglycerin-3. As an emulsifier, it helps stabilize products by preventing oils and water from separating. It’s one of the more common highly comedogenic emulsifying agents found in cosmetics. This product also includes fragrance which could be irritating to those who have sensitive skin.
