I stumbled upon this matte liquid lipstick recently at my local Shopper's Drug Mart.
I typically do not gravitate towards matte lipsticks but it was on sale for ONLY $3.49 so of course I could not pass up this deal.
This matte liquid lipstick dries quickly and is very pigmented. I have olive complexion and a few of my colleagues thought that it was the perfect colour for me, while others thought it may be a tad bit too dark.
It states on the lipstick tube that it has staying power of up to eight hours. In addition, it is mask-proof.This was the only reason why I could start wearing lipstick again while still wearing a mask at school. From my experience, it does transfer when you eat or drink. I did not find that it stayed in tact for eight hours but rather four hours, especially if you have an entire meal.
One definite plus about this matte liquid lipstick is that it will transfer and fade, however you will need micellar water or a cleansing wipe to remove it fully because it will remain on the outline of your lips looking like you are wearing a lip liner.
Considering the price which is $5.99 when not on sale; I would give this matte liquid lipstick ⭐⭐⭐⭐ definitely and possibly five stars considering that I paid only $3.49 when it was on sale.
