I purchased these patches in Sephora when I ran out of my regular ones from Cosrx, which I really like in terms of effectiveness but always complain about their weak glue.
My experience:
They suck out all the gunk when the pimple is white and ready to pop and help to heal it without scarring. For me it’s so satisfying to see how much gunk gathers in the patch overnight!
Because they contain salicylic acid and vitamin A, they may be too harsh for dry or sensitive skin. I have very sensitive spots on my chin (near lip corners), and after using the patch there my skin was very red and sensitized. Went back to normal after about a week. That’s my bad cuz I used the patch in an area that’s too sensitive for these string actives.
They are on the pricier side.
I always complain about pimple patches having weak glue and the edges sticking out, but I feel like these ones stick to skin even TOO STRONG!
Glue is super strong so even when I remove them after the night they still hold on to skin so well, it feels like removing a bandage. I’m unsure if it’s good for skin barrier.
They have quite dark beige color and I'm always afraid that they attract all the attention on my pale face.
