I like the texture of the Unicorn Essence by Farsali. I’d say it’s thicker on the serum spectrum. Although this product is not new (2017), it is newish. I used to think of serum as like a moisturizer, but now I also use it as a primer for make-up. There is a slight shine when using the product as a make-up primer. The scent is sweet, like bubble gum or candy. I also used it as skincare, as I was out of town and had no other skincare products with me. My skin felt more moisturized in the morning, compared to not using anything at night. I think the texture looks and feels better (smoother), after a week of using this product both as a make-up primer and as a moisturizer at night. I like that this formula is water, not oil, based. It does not leave my skin feeling greasy. There is a strong antioxidant formula of of Acai, Goji, and Blueberry, which is welcome for my dry skin.
