I did not expect to like this so much as I originally anticipated. I actually don’t have a good opinion on scrubs but this one did change my mind a little. Let me tell you why I liked this:
🌿 This lathers up nicely. One main reasons I don’t like scrubs is because I find that they don’t lather nicely as I wish they did, which leads me to think I’m not actually cleaning my body. With this however, I felt my pores being cleaned out.
🌿 This has a nice smell to it that isn’t strong. Its main ingredients consist of boryeong mud, which is known to have minerals that contain benefits. While that is to be tested for further to form a solid opinion, I do see that it contains salicylic acid, which is a good BHA, and salt silt, which is good for exfoliation. It also contains ceramides to protect your skin barrier.
🌿 After washing, I did not experience dryness or removal of skin’s natural moisture. I felt clean. I like that this does not mess with your skin barrier.
🌿 I did see a slight improvement in brightness as little as in one wash. I was pleasantly surprised and will use this as a motivation factor to use this more often.
Overall, this gets a 5/5 for me.
