My teenage daughter wanted to dye her waist length, thick hair, a deep burgundy color, and this Revlon Colorsilk was the perfect color. I helped her apply 2 boxes, and the cover was great! This was very easy to apply and the directions or easy to follow. This was thick enough to not drip down onto my daughter's face or the floor. I like that this hair dye has no ammonia. This did not burn or irritate my daughter scalp. We left the hair dye on for the appropriate time and rinsed out in the shower. It did not dye my bathtub. The color was very even and turned out fantastic. My daughter was very pleased with the color. This hair dye was gentle and easy on her hair. It came with two packs of conditioner that made her hair feel silky smooth. I was happy that it did not have a terrible chemical smell. Most hair dyes do. I highly recommend this hair dye.
