Humphrey's "Recharge With Grapefruit" Witch Hazel smells so good. A definite pick-me-up in the morning before work. The pungent Citrus really lifts my senses & even gives me a sense of alertness while my pores/skin get envigorated with the Witch Hazel.
The overall design of the product is genius, with the wooden cap & pre-cut hole in the covering lid safety seal. I personally feel good about keeping it on my bottle knowing my product will stay fresh!
A little goes a long way, on a cotton pad or ball. I use mine as an aftercare toner. But Witch Hazel is essential for a lot of other things, including being a sterile astringent that can be used topically for anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties. It can be used on the scalp, face, neck, so much! (it's also great for Hemorrhoids.)
I love how it helps with my inflammation & redness that my skin tends to experience after long days of work. It just feels so calming & refreshing. Humphrey's Witch Hazel has got to be the most purest product I've tried (and I've tried a lot!) It goes on my skin nice, penetrates and evaporates in seconds. Leaving me with clean, fresh skin that I usually moisturise after with. Witch Hazel usually always dries me out, but this specific brand isn't as bad as some of the store bought ones I've tried--so, that's a plus!
All in all, a nice envigorating Witch Hazel that will be used frequently!
