The Inkey List Glycolic Acid Toner is a perfect toner and exfoliator in one. Glycolic Acid helps in getting rid of dead skin cells and is beneficial for people with blemish-prone and textured skin. It’s also a good indicator if you’ve damaged your skin barrier when it stings upon application (based on experience), LOL! At first it didn’t but then it started to sting more and I just realized that I really shouldn’t have been using it every night or with a somewhat stripping cleanser 😅 It has a strong, naturally acidic scent and I recommend avoiding the eye area when using this. Thank me later 😉😂 This can also be used on other blemish-prone areas of the body other than the face and is best used at night. I sometimes use this to treat body acne or those pesky bumps on my arms known as keritosis pilaris 👍🏻 It claims to diminish the appearance of pores which I’m not too sure about. What I am sure of is that it helped with clearing up my skin and giving me that extra glow you would expect after a good exfoliation. My face does get flushed after application but it would always subside after a few minutes probably because it is straight up an acid 🧪 I’m probably not going to be repurchasing this anytime soon as I prefer weaker and gentler formulations and ingredients for my toners 😊
