Watermelon Fresh Sunscreen SPF50+/PA++++
Before the SPF scandal broke out, my opinion on this was actually very positive.
I really enjoyed the highly moisturizing properties this brought. Due to its thick texture, it was perfect when used in place of a moisturizer. It kept my dehydrated skin hydrated and protected through the day. The texture was also really elegant and left a natural hydrated sheen.
Fast forward, I realized that this product was made by Green Cos, the same manufacturer that made other SPF with lower than stated ratings (Be Plain, Round Lab were both taken off the market). This SPF also contained very similar ingredients and the very same UV filters (no mention the % though)
I may be jumping the gun but I don’t feel convinced about the SPF rating. I’m NOT stating it’s definitely the case but I think it’s something that consumers should be aware of. If anything, we should be replying SPF more often.
