✨ This product is a bit confusing because it’s labelled as a cream but is actually a multifunction formula that is meant (if you go by the product literature) as an essence step. Snail mucin filtrate is the star ingredient and it claims to lighten marks, improve fine wrinkles and the appearance of pores, and keep skin hydrated. ✨ The texture is smooth and creamy, with slip and elasticity rendered by the snail mucin. It spreads luxuriously and absorbs remarkably fast. It’s wonderfully emollient, making it great for dry and mature skin. I use this as an essence — in between toner and serums — not occlusive for me so I wouldn’t use it as a moisturizer, though maybe it might work differently for oily skin. ✨ Revisiting this product has just been great — I was reminded why I loved this in the first place. It delivers on all of its claims, but I especially love the plumping power — this packs a lot of chok chok goodness — and the overall glowiness it gives me.
