I have always enjoyed using Cerave products especiallythe foaming cleanser and the moisture cream. So when they came out with a cream to foam makeup removing cleanser i jumoed on it. But i was slightly dissapointed. It is for normal to dry skin and i have dry skin usually. It says it ms supposed to clean, hydrate, and remove makeup without damaging the skin barrier. It has 3 essential ceramides, amino acids, and hylauronic acid as well. It is a fragrence free formula so it is safe for those with sensitive skin. The consistency is a very thin lotion consistency. It doesnt lather very well and can remove light makeup but if you wear a full face of makeup like i do it wont do it completley. It does not dry out my skin and definitly leaves my skin feeling clean, soft, and smoothe.
It will not remove a full face of makeup completley. I had to go over a second time with a cleansing balm in order ro remove the rest of the makeup. I think the foaming cleanser is way better than this one. I like the formula better of the foaming facial cleanser over this one. It also will burn the eyes if it drips in. I would rather it be a better makeup remover and have a creamier consistency.
