Rosehip Oil
“Rosehip Oil is a pressed seed oil, extracted from the seeds of wild rose bushes. It is loaded with skin nourishing vitamins and essential fatty acids as well as Phenol that is known to have antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties.”
The benefits of using Rosehip Oil include:
🌹 Long-lasting moisture and hydration
🌹 Skin brightening and mild exfoliation
🌹 Boosts collagen formation
🌹 Helps reduce inflammation
🌹 Protects against sun damage
🌹 Helps reduce hyperpigmentation
HOW I USE IT
What I do is I add a couple of drops to my cream moisturizer on my palm and spread it evenly across my face and neck. This way, I wouldn’t have to worry about the oil clogging my pores again and that I can actually rest a lot more peacefully without worrying about staining my sheets.
I am left with nothing but moisturized and nourished skin without the overly greasy feeling. I think the oil also helps boost my moisturizer by having it work overtime as I slept the entire night.
MY EXPERIENCE
I have been loving this so far. It has helped lighten up a pimple mark that I have on my left temple. It worked faster than months of me using a Niacinamide serum or essence.
This does have a strong and distinct natural scent to it and I would describe it as being very nutty and earthy. Like most Rosehip Oils, this one has a very bright yellow-orange pigment.
What I don’t like about it is the cheap plastic bottle. It could have been better if it was in a glass bottle with a dropper or a pump. I had several occassions where the oil just leaked from the cap after some mishandling or from not storing it upright.
