I received the Clarins One -Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser complimentary in exchange for my honest review. I have been using this cleanser for several days and find it to be quite gentle on the skin. Some exfoliating cleansers leave my skin irritated to where it stings when I apply skincare, but this one has not done that. I apply using small circular motions and my skin feels clean and has a nice glow afterwards. I do feel I need to take a little extra time rinsing than my normal cleanser or I noticed this still being left on my skin. I did use this on a full face of makeup and thought it did a good job removing and cleansing in one step. My only real complaint is this has a strong smell and my eyes sting when using this, even though I'm avoiding my eye area. I'm not sure if this is just a fragrance ingredient I personally react to and find overpowering, but I would caution users who do not do well with added fragrance. I like the overall results of this product, but I am unlikely to repurchase due to scent.
