I was sent the Lancaster Sun Sensitive Tinted Mattifying Fluid SPF 50 from another testing platform to test and review and I think this product is quite okay.
It's a very light, tinted cream that is easy to apply but is very runny and watery, even after shaking the bottle. A slightly thicker cream would make application a little easier. Unfortunately, my skin still feels a bit greasy for quite a while and the product does not penetrate the skin very easily. After absorbing, my face feels soft and cared for, but it also feels a bit dry. Soft and cared for, but not really nourished or hydrated. Therefore, it's really important to use a good moisturizing cream in addition to this product.
The cream spreads well and smells nice. There is no detectable sunscreen scent, rather a more floral scent, and I really appreciate that, as most sunscreens really don't have a pleasant scent.
The cream has very minimal coverage, red spots are still very visible and I personally think that is a shame in a tinted cream because those red spots are precisely the reason why I would buy a tinted cream. However, it does give the matte finish and looks great.
This cream has SPF 50, a very high value, and therefore provides excellent protection!
There are some negatives but also many positives, the most important being the high SPF protection and the pleasant scent. However, the downsides mean that I would not immediately recommend the Lancaster Sun Sensitive Tinted Mattifying Fluid to friends and family, I personally don't think it is good enough for that, but if you are looking for high protection, a matte finish and a light, easy to apply and water-like texture, and not so much for any coverage, then this Fluid is certainly great!
