First of all like any other power liquid of cosrx, i like the packaging. Simple and quite eyecatching.
As a product with BHA this is being marketed as Poreless power liqiud.
Let's start with the cons and why i gave it a high rating.
I use this as how I'll use an exfoliator( or how i use the one step pimple pad ), gently sweeping my face using cotton pad followed by a soothing toner.
- This product is quite mild, it didn't irritate my skin whatsoever
- I noticed a reduction of skin texture which is my main concern
- It has this cool effect that feels so good after wash
- I have little bumps around my chin, this didn't magically made them disappear but bring them to the surface of my skin so it can start healing ( i did not purge but i did get pimples here and there ) and because of that the amount of bumps had diminish and i rarely got pimples now.
- It does shrink the pores although quite subtly it really is there. But being hot and humid here from where I'm from my pores open up anyway.
- And to my delight it wasn't as drying as i expect a BHA to be. This doesnt strip my skin or give that feeling of tightness unlike the other BHA that i have use.
I use this on weekdays and rest on weekends.
I usually skip this if im gonna use a strong active.
Ofcourse if there is something good there is something bad.
- First of all i did not expect any tightening of pores from this as it is hot and humid here in PH. But to be marketed as a Poreless power Liquid is a bit of a stretch.
- If we're gonna consider this as something that removes blackhead or an exfoliator, it did not deliver. It does not exfoliate and my blackheads are still there.
- And whenever i have a pimple this does not help me dry that faster, i ended up using something else.
- The direction is quite confusing as well, as some says use it as a toner and other says use it after the toner.
Overall, if i ditch that poreless word and how it's marketed it's a pretty okay product. I mean it really did reduce my skin texture which is a reason enough for me to buy this ( i want smooth skin 😅 ) It does not sting unlike my other BHA that's why i have use it for a long time and im about to empty the bottle which is a plus ( i do not like pain )
Repurchase??? No.
I'm gonna upgrade to the Blackhead power liquid.
Do i recommend?? Yes
But just like i said it's more of a refiner than a poreless power liquid. Something easy to use as this is gentle enough. For me it's more of my pathway to stronger concentration ( i want to avoid purging as much as possible ) like an intro for my skin.
