This is a gel cleanser and not a scrub cleanser. The black substance in the cleanser is not scrub. The smell is good. My husband and I try it. The cleanser has richer foam and can exfoliate. I am very dry skin. So my face skin feels dry after use it, maybe I will use it one or two times a week. My husband is oil skin and he didn’t like this cleanser because he felt the cleaning was not enough for him. I use it to try remove makeup, it can remove the mascara but can’t remove the eyeliner and lipstick. I think it can be used to remove the light makeup.
