Hello skincare friends I’m really happy to share that I got to try the YSL Loveshine Lip Oil Lipsticks.
This is a new version of a previous product in a new silver contained packaging. I’ve seen lots of skincare and makeup influencers share their YSL Makeup products and didn’t realize YSL had multiple lip products. I love this packaging but was confused with the pink center, as I assumed the color would match the lipstick shade, though it seems to be a color code for that specific type of lipstick the brand sells.
I was given shade #44 and #150 to try. Both seem to be of a nude pink colors, the former being more sheer. I love tinted moisturizing lip products, and this leaves a lovely shade behind with a bit of shine of a lipgloss and maintains moisturizing buttery feeling that doesn’t dry out the lips. Each is $61.00 CAD, which is actually pretty pricey but since I do not have a moisturizing tinted lip balm with a gloss finish… I think I will purchase this in other shades that I prefer. For the price point, if it were even more longer lasting I wouldn’t be as hesitant to buy it.
