I received this product complimentary from Sulwhasoo for testing purposes. The first thing to note about this product is the smell. It smells AWFUL! It’s like a mix between tobacco and dirt. I double checked the ingredients, and this product contains fragrance which makes the offensive smell even worse. For the price, I wouldn’t want to walk around smelling like an ash tray. While checking the ingredients list I did not see anything that would justify the high price of this product. It is not emphasized in the marketing that this is a retinol product, so be sure to load up on sunscreen after using. As far as application, the cream thins out very fast and only a little is needed to cover the whole face. I felt the product sat on my skin like Aloe Vera gel and made my face look shiny for an extended period of time. I did not notice any immediate benefits from using this cream, and I would imagine extended use would be needed to see results, unfortunately the sensorial experience of this product would make that feel more like a punishment than a relaxing skincare routine. I would highly caution against getting this product.
