My face is oily but the skin around my eyes are dry and dehydrated so eye creams are essential to me, and the richer the texture, the better. I’m really enjoying this eye cream because it has that rich, thick texture that I prefer. It may look heavy but it spreads easily. It’s hydrating and moisturizing and works well with other products. I did not experience pilling and there was no stinging either.
It does brighten the eye area albeit temporarily. Staring at the cream closely, I notice some radiance to it, and that’s probably the thing that’s making my eyes look glowy, like I had enough sleep. Not sure if it can reduce the appearance of dark circles, haven’t seen any difference, but I’ve only been using this for two weeks. Significant brightening might be observed after several weeks to a few months.
The formula is free of alcohol, fragrance, and essential oils and it’s housed in an airless pump bottle.
I don’t think it’ll help diminish the look of lines and wrinkles and I appreciate the brand’s honesty of not claiming anti-aging as a benefit. This eye cream is a brightener and it’s good for those who have minimal to no eye wrinkles but it’ll be lacking for those who have more mature skin. I use an eye serum under this so I can have both anti-aging and brightening effects.
