Those who know me a bit (or have read some of the discussions I commented on), know that I am absolutely in love with Korean skincare brand Skin1004! It's such an amazing brand! With so many amazing products! Yes, I'm a huge Skin1004 fan! 😊 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧? The Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Tea-Trica Soothing Sun Milk is a lightweight, milky chemical sunscreen, containing Centella Asiatica from Madagascar, which is Skin1004's key ingredient, Tea Tree (fun fact: together, Tea Tree and Cica, which basically is another word for Centella Asiatica, becomes Tea-Trica! 😉😊), Niacinamide, Fig Fruit Extract, Primrose Flower Extract, Cypres Extract and Pine Extract. It promises to calm and soothe the skin while providing both UVA and UVB protection and caters mainly to acne prone and normal to sensitive skin, as it's tested on sensitive skin and proves to be non comedogenic. It's also cruelty free and ocean and reef save. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭: I didn't notice any scent. Because of the print on the packaging, I was expecting some sort of a pine scent, or maybe something woody, but there wasn't anything at all. I personally don't mind scented products, my sensitive skin usually stills feels and looks good after using scented products, but having a non scented product is obviously better, especially when you have sensitive skin, to make sure your skin doesn't get irritated by the fragrances. 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥: This Sun Milk has a very lightweight and soft texture, it's almost watery but it still is easy to apply. It's a bit runny, but still doesn't run all over your face while applying, so it's not too runny. It still has a little bit of consistency. It's viscosity is just a tad higher than milk or water. The Sun Milk melts into the skin easily and absorbs rather quickly but it feels slightly greasy while and after applying, although the greasy feeling doesn't hold on for a very long time. It doesn't dissapear completely, but it feels way less greasy when your skin has absorbed the Sun Milk. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: Like all Skin1004 products, the packaging looks sleek and modern, featuring a green pine forest on the matte white carton box, along with the brand's name, the product's name, a list of ingredients and instructions on how to use the Sun Milk in black and green lettering. I really love the look of all Skin1004 products, they always look nice and sleek and really emphasize the sustainability and the green lifestyle they're standing for. The bottle itself is white and features black and green lettering and a green cap on top of the bottle. It's a small package and a small bottle though, but on the other hand, the small size contributes to keeping this product affordable! 😉 And makes it easier to take this Sun Milk with you wherever you go! 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: My skin feels soft, firm and supple, hydrated, moisturized and smooth after applying the Sun Milk and my skin looks healthy, radiant, fresh and slightly dewy, but in a good, natural way. A natural, healthy looking glow. It doesn't leave any whitecast, which is a huge pro! My skin didn't felt or looked irritated, dry, tight or itchy and I didn't notice any breakouts. I was hoping any redness would be less visible too, but it didn't really even out my skin that much, which is too bad because that's exactly what the Tea Trea it contains should do. I didn't have any sunburns so it definitely does what it has to do in that departement! 😉 𝐌𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: It definitely is a good product, like almost all Skin1004 products, but if I have to choose, I prefer the Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum because that one feels less greasy and just feels a tad better in my opinion. I also feel like it's a shame it doesn't really take care of any redness, concidering it contains Centella. I still would recommend it though, it solely depends on what you like, really. It didn't push my all time favorite from it's throne, but it still is good. Not fantastic, just, plain and simple, good.
