This Rimmel Lasting Finish Compact Foundation is a powder foundation that has a long-lasting 25-hour coverage. It is matte so that is great for my oily skin type and I really like that it aims to blend and blur. The unique thing about this foundation is that it contains hyaluronic acid so it takes skincare into consideration. This is one of my favourite skincare ingredients as it hydrates the skin.
I received shade 008 - Soft Beige which is a beautiful natural shade that isn’t too orange like some foundations are. It matched my skin tone perfectly. It is really easy to apply, I simply applied it with a large brush. In terms of how it feels, it has a very light-weight feel to it and doesn’t cake in dry areas such as the nose.
This formula is vegan so this compact foundation really does cater for all. I highly recommend this compact foundation as not only is it a great make up choice, I really like that it takes skincare into consideration with the addition of hyaluronic acid.
