It took the majority of my eye makeup off but struggled with waterproof mascara. It didn't matter how long I left it on my eyes before wiping it off, I always ended up with dark smudges underneath my eyes. I usually remove my eye makeup before removing the rest of my face makeup. When I did that with this micellar water, the skin around my eyes started to become very dry and sensitive in the 1-2 minutes it took to cleanse the rest of my face. The skin are on my eyes are on the dryer side but I have never experienced that kind of irritation with Bioderma. This was interesting to try out since I rarely purchase different micellar water but I won't be repurchasing the because it's a little too harsh for more sensitive areas of my face.
