Glass-C Skin Brightening Serum

product review positives
🍊 the ingredients include: -- 15% Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C, antioxidant, brightening, collagen production -- 74.6% Sea Buckthorn Water (antioxidant, rich in Vitamin C, skin soothing) -- Niacinamide (brightening, sebum production control, retain moisture on skin) -- Green Tea (antioxidant, anti-aging) -- Baobab (antioxidant) -- Chamomile (skin soothing) It's full of antioxidants ans prowerhouse ingredients that could help brighten you skin overtime while reducing the damaged caused by free radicals. 🍊 Watery texture, spreads easily on the skin. Layers very well with other skincare products. 🍊 Value for money in terms of cost per ml! This one contains 50ml for $20 or P1000 pesos. This is a pro if you're only able to use the entire bottle before it goes bad. 🍊 No detectable scent despite containing Lavander oil. Experienced a slight tingling sensation, but otherwise my skin did not react badly here.
product review negatives
🍊 The color of the liquid when opened fresh is amber in color. When vitamin C oxidizes (goes bad) it turns into a orangey brown color. It is hard for me to detect when this product goes bad. 🍊 There is no PAO symbol or label in the bottle, the box, or the website. No guideline expiring made it even harder. 🍊 My biggest gripe here is the packaging. It comes in a dropper bottle. It's not the best packaging for a very unstable ingredient like Vitamin C. This serum does not contain preservatives or anitoxidants like Ferulic Acid (stabilize Vitamin C) or Vitamin E (preservative) that would keep the product fresh for long. 🍊 I was not able to use the product fast enough before it went bad even if using it twice a day. Since I wasn't able to use it all up despite my efforts, I wasted my money. That price per ml is misleading.. I wished they made it smaller to 30ml ampoule bottles instead to atleast avoid product from going to waste. 🍊The amber color started to turn into deeper rusty brown shade which affected the appearance of my skin, it started to stain. Overall, I don't like this product for the packaging, the lack of preservatives, and the lack of PAO information (they only have shelf life which is not the same!) The results I find inconclusive.. I wanted to try it for 8 weeks or so but the staining was so bad I had to stop using it. It made my face 2 shades darker. The only plus point I have here is because of the amazing amount of antioxidants in the formula (its the reason why I bought it), but all the other factors just wasn't enough to convince me to repurchase or recommend this product...
