🌈 This mask is an invisible silk mask that has hydrating, brightening and firming claims. Key ingredients include mango seed butter, a nutritious oil said to soften and rehydrate skin, restore elasticity and prevent skin aging; squalane, lecithin and collagen, which fortify and nourish the skin; peony root extract, which refines pores, minimizes the appearance of wrinkles, and brightens skin; and boerhavia diffusa root extract, which soothes skin and improves defense against environmental stressors.
🌈 I seem to be getting a better hang of the silk mask because I had less trouble applying it before it got stretched out of shape. This is super silky material and feels really good against the skin. It’s a little big on me but adherence is pretty good and the mask doesn’t budge until it starts to dry. The essence is thin but has some tackiness, and it smells like mango ice cream
🌈I masked this for about 20 minutes. It really refined the texture on my skin – that baby smooth texture you want to keep touching even if you know you’re not supposed to – and the brightening was pretty intense although it faded a few notches the morning after.
