When I got into skincare, trying to understand AHA & BHA was the most difficult part, so much information and so many products. I was hesitant at the same time owing to my dry skin.
That’s when I came across Pixi Overnight Glow Serum. Formulated with 10% glycolic acid, it surely provided me with radiance, clarity and an even skin tone. What I like is that Cucumber and Aloe Vera extract calmed and nourished my dry skin! The serum is thick transparent gel consistency with no fragrance (Pus Point) ☺️
Admittedly, this was my first ever chemical exfoliant and I straight onto jumped to 10% glycolic acid. Thankfully, my skin didn’t cause any adverse reaction as such. There was slight skin purging but it became normal in about 3 days. First time users, I’d recommend starting with something rather more gentle.
Being quite a concentrate, I don’t overindulge and restrict to using it only twice a week, PM only. I use 2 drops directly on my face using the dropper and pat gently. Then I wait for about 30secs to a minute and follow up with a moisturizer.
I can’t stress more on the use of sunscreen the next morning to avoid redness and rashes.
