The Clearstem YouAre Sunshine sunscreen is an excellent sunscreen for individuals with acne-prone skin because it is free of pore-clogging ingredients. It is water resistant for up to 80 minutes and is SPF 50. It is tinted and leaves no white cast so it can be worn alone or under makeup. It also contains 21% Zinc Oxide, Green Tea and Gotu Kola. What I really enjoyed about this sunscreen is that it has a blurring effect and really helped to minimize the appearance of my larger pores. It is absolutely perfect for me on a no makeup day at the beach, and I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with acne-prone skin as a way of protecting your skin from damaging rays of sun.
Because I have oily skin, I did find this sunscreen to be rather heavy on my skin and didn’t ever completely absorb into my skin, so I personally would not typically wear this under makeup, although the product may work as an under-makeup primer for someone with drier skin.
