This chemical sunscreen delivers its claims for being hydrating, moisturizing, calming, and soothing. I would usually need to spot treat redness on my face before sunscreen reapplication, but with this sunscreen I never had to. I love that it is fragrance-free, does not sting my eyes, and has an added ingredient for treating hyperpigmentation (Tranexamic Acid). It has a dewy white cast upon application but absorbs fast and dries down to a hydrating matte colorless finish, which I love so much. Can be a good base for make up.
The watery-lotion texture is off-putting at first, because it does not feel like wearing a sunscreen. Upon reading more about it, I learned that they made it possible to be very lightweight with the use of 「SunCat」technology. This innovation uses micro-encapsulated chemical filters to provide high UV protection by forming a light and transparent film on skin surface that does not fall off easily even when sweating, therefore an effective resistance against UVA/UVB (SPF50+ PA++++) and air pollution particles PM2.5. Despite this, I love that they clearly mentioned that reapplication is needed every 2hrs or as necessary.
I finished this 40ml bottle for 24 consecutive days, often with 2-3x daily reapplication. Talk about bang for the buck! Definitely worth repurchasing.
It’s not a gel-type sunscreen as labelled, but more of a watery-lotion one. As instructed, had to shake first before using because the oil separates from the other liquid ingredients.
