The cap is iridescent and is removed by twisting it off. The opening is slightly too large. This does not provide optimal control. Scent: The scent is lovely. It contains hints of rose. It’s not strong at all, very subtle. I prefer products with minimal amounts of perfume due to skin irritation. Texture/Consistency/Color: The texture of this product is very smooth once dried. While it’s wet, there is a slightly oily feel but that disappears after 30 seconds. The consistency is a liquid. The color is clear but it becomes cloudy after shaking the bottle. How to use: Shake to activate the formula. Pour up to 3 drops onto the palm of your hands or a cotton round. Press onto face and neck. My Experience: I incorporated the essence into my routine by applying it after my toner and before my serum at night. I shake the bottle to combine the two layers, one oil-based and one water-based. A whisk is in the middle to aid the mixture homogeneity. I love this, it’s so much fun! Then, I pour 3 drops into my palms and press the essence into my skin. The essence has AHA and BHA, so I avoid the use of vitamin c and niacinamide products. This essence is by far the best essence my face has ever used. After the first use, I already felt a difference in my skin. My skin felt incredibly smooth, hydrated, and soft. Like silk cloth, but even softer. The slight dry and roughness I had were gone by the next morning. My skin appears brighter and feels bouncier.
