This night cream is perfect for dry to combo skin people.
I use this every night and it makes my skin feel well moisturized even during the winter time (can get to -5C here).
Feel:
It is quite a thick cream, so reserve I for the night time. It is definitely sticky, but I don’t really mind, since I just use it at night. My skin is combination, so when I wake up the next morning, my T zone is a little oily, but my drier areas (cheeks) feel great. Just a little bit of foaming cleanser is enough to wash away any oiliness the next day. The oiliness does not seem to clog my pores on my forehead, but I do have blackheads on my nose.
Packaging/hygiene:
This comes in a jar, so naturally, it is not too hygienic as I need to dip my fingers into the product each time, and it is exposed to the air every time it is opened. It is ok for where I live (Vancouver, Canada, not humid).
Scent/fragrance:
Like other nivea products, this has a super strong fragrance, which I don’t enjoy. My nose can tolerate it, but when I put it on my nose creases, where it is super sensitive, it stings each time. The sensation passes eventually.
Claims:
This product claims to be anti wrinkle and firming. I’m 23, so I can’t say whether this product helps in that regard.
This product is NOT suitable for those who are oily or live in a humid and/or hot climate as the texture is quite thick and occlusive.
It is also NOT suitable for those who are very sensitive, as this contains quite a lot of fragrance. I will be looking for another occlusive night cream due to the strong smell.
