1) Packaging: 10/10
The box is made of sugar cane paper probably around 1 mm thick and printed with soy ink. Both are good for the environment. The bottle is made of plastic type 3 (PVC) and is quite sturdy. The sticker sticking to the bottle feels nice too, it has this velvet-ish kinda feeling but not velvet. The hole and the lid are well designed too because there's no spilling at all.
2) Texture, Scent, Color and Finish: 10/10
As expected from a toner, its texture is watery. And as stated on the attributes part, it has no fragrance on its ingredients. However it has a slightly fresh scent from its natural ingredients. I don't know what scent it is as I am not a scent expert lol. This toner is not colorless, it is brown colored but it leaves no stain on my clothes when I spilled some of the product there once.
I applied it using my hands by gliding through my face and then lightly tap my face until the product absorbed. I think it needs less than a minute to be completely absorbed. What I like the most is its finish. The finish is not sticky at all and it makes my skin smoother 🥺❤
3) Performance: 9/10
So currently I am using many acids that dry my face to the point where I started feeling tightness on my face. I felt like my skin barrier is in the borderline with being damaged. I was so concerned about this so I decided to buy a toner which can help me with these concerns and my choice fell on BENTON DEEP GREEN TEA TONER.
To be honest, I feel like it doesn't replenish moisture that well even if I put it on my face in 2 layers. Like I had mentioned above, I can feel it smoothes my skin almost immediately but then in maybe about 4 to 5 hours, I can feel the dryness again. Maybe the usage of strong acids is the cause of this.
However the other claims are sooooo true. Everytime I get a small red bump on my face that I don't know what the cause is, I always apply this product and it really soothes that small bump and makes it disappear without leaving any mark. Before, I always let that small red bump be until it dried itself but then it always left dark spot and that dark spot was so very hard to fade 😭 It also freshens my face. I really enjoy applying this to my face because it freshens my skin and I feel like my skin is healthier and clearer.
4) Price: 10/10
I bought it online from Shopee for IDR96k ($6~7) and it contains 150 ml of the product. It is super cheap. Especially for a student like me, this is a very good deal 🥺❤
