The texture of this mask is of a clay consistency which spreads really well on the skin either using a brush or your fingers. It is very smooth and creamy and rinses off really well with warm water after it sits on the face for 10-15 minutes. As it turns out after use, I was pretty amazed by how great this worked. It left my skin feeling really soft, clean and smooth with a healthy glow. However because I have dry skin, this dried my skin out a bit more but I'm sure this will work well for those who combination to oily skin
