I have been wanting to try this FOREVER since it was launched and wasn’t particularly lucky in winning any of the giveaways for this. Nevertheless, I took the plunge during Black Friday on SKIN1004 website where they were selling this for $8 (an amazing deal I tell ya).
I’m glad I got to try this on hand because while I don’t suffer from acne anymore, I do get one or two pimples every once in a while. Using this has made those minor pimples go away quickly, and helps make the spot look clear and blemish free.
Compared to the OG Hyalu-Cica Sun Serum (the blue one), I find this to be slightly thinner and absorbs much faster. As oily combo skin girl, my skin loves this. This also has ZERO white cast, which is the main driving factor in my sunscreen purchases.
Skincare benefit wise, this contains multiple goodies such as:
🌲 Tea Leaf Extract (antibacterial)
🌲 Centella Asiatica Extract (anti-inflammatory and soothing)
🌲 Glycerin (moisturizing)
🌲 Ethylhexyl Triazone, Terephthalylidene Dicamphor Sulfonic Acid, and Bus-Ethylhexylophenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine (some of the best sunscreen ingredients in the market).
It’s worthwhile to know that this contains an SPF of 50, which is more than the industry standard in America (which is SPF 30). You’ll get adequate sun protection with this.
Overall, I really liked this and recommend it to those who have acne prone skin.
