This was my first experience using a product from Trinny London and my first experience using a tinted serum. I how have ever tried many tinted moisturizers. I thought it would be pretty close to one of those products but in actuality it’s quite different in its application and its finish. It arrived in a nice full sized package with an easy to use pump dispenser. I cleansed my face, applied toner, a light layer of SPF, and then started with 2 pumps of the serum. I chose to use my hands with the first application. It absorbed pretty nicely. I quickly noticed that the light layer of spf moisturizer was necessary if I wanted to wear the serum in place of a foundation. After applying the first two pumps with my hands, and applied another 2 and used a foundation brush to finish applying. It has a really light comfortable finish. It definitely has the ability to keep building up. I really liked the end result of my face makeup. I would recommend this product for all skin types. It’s perfect for those who like a really natural look. It evens out your texture and color. I would definitely purchase this item in the near future.
For so long I’ve been confident with my application steps. This was something new and different to me and I’m still trying to find the correct way to layer products when using this tinted serum. So far I’ve seemed to find a way that works for me to get the finish I desire, but each time I find different things to help the application process.
