Those who know me, also know that Skin1004 is one of my all time favorite Korean skincare brands, I haven't found a single Skin1004 product yet that I didn't like, so I was really excited for this one! 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙧: 𝙄 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙮 𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙬. 𝘼𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚! 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧? The Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Probio - Cica Enrich Cream is a rich and quite heavy face cream, containing Centella Asiatica Extract, Lactobacillus Ferment Extract, Shea Butter, Macadamia Seed Oil, Phytosterols and Ceramide NP, claiming to calm and to soothe the skin, to strengthen the skin barrier and to providing anti-aging properties while hydrating the skin and locking in moisture into the skin. This cream claims to be suitable for dry, normal and combination skin but I assume it should be suitable for sensitive skin too, since it contains all those soothing, calming, repairing and healing ingredients. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭: This cream is scentless and is therefore an excellent choice for those with sensitive or irritated skin. 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥: It's a rich and quite a heavy and dense white coloured, silky soft and kinda buttery cream, however, it spreads out easily and after absorbing into the skin, it even doesn't feel that heavy on the skin anymore. For a more heavy cream, it actually absorbs rather quickly too. After absorbtion, it doesn't leave behind any greasy, sticky or oily residu and it doesn't make the skin feel dry, tight or itchy. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: Like all Skin1004 products, this one also looks quite minimal, sleek, modern and natural. The cream comes in a matte, brown colored plastic container with a white colored lid and a white sticker with black lettering on the front of the container, featuring the name of the product. On the back, there's some Korean text printed on the container itself in white text, but I have no clue what it says, since I don't speak Korean myself. Underneath the white colored lid, there's also a white colored cap, to make sure the cream doesn't get spilled all over the lid. The plastic container comes in a white and brown carton box which represent a natural view, I think it's some kind of leaves, but it's difficult to see, since it's shot in close up I believe. Anyway, it looks really natural and plant-like, although it also looks kinda surreal, like a far away planet or something! 😉😁 It also comes with the most beautiful and cute little spatula I've ever seen! The whole package looks sleek, modern, minimalistic and natural, truly emphasizing the natural aspect of Skin1004. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: At first, I was a bit afraid to use this cream in my morning routine, because it's so rich and heavy, but I actually like it! In my experience, it looks more heavy and rich than it actually is. After application, my skin feels silky soft and smooth, hydrated, moisturized and firm and looks plump, less reddish, nourished and healthy. 𝐌𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: I like it but I feel like it could give even more moisture and hydration because half through the day, I feel like my skin is getting thirsty again. And for such a rich and heavy cream, providing moisture and hydration for only half a day just doesn't do it, in my opinion. But during the first few hours of the day, my skin is hydrated perfectly though! If just the results would last a bit longer. In my part of the world, it's winter now and I feel like this cream would be more suitable during summer. I'm still rating it 4 stars because I do like it, I like the other results, like how it makes my face look, that it slightly reduces any redness and calms and soothes my skin, that it doesn't contain any fragrances and how fast it absorbs into the skin and all that, I just don't like it enough to give it that illusive perfect score. I feel like it's mainly recommended for those with normal to oily skin or during summer days. I wouldn't recommend it to dry skinned people though, as I feel like it isn't gonna to be moisturizing and hydrating enough for dry skin.
