Not your conventional vit C @sundayriley CEO glow
Traditional vit C uses L-ascorbic acid, however for this uses Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, aka THD Ascorbate.
What is THD ascorbate?
A type of oil-soluble form of Vit C,
which penetrates through the skin and gives inside out glowing skin (not just mostly surface level like the L-ascorbic). THD is also very stable at a pH of <5, which is why it can use a see through bottle (which most vid C avoids), doesn't oxidize as fast, can retain its potency for a longer period of time and can be used by a more sensitive skin without irritating it.
π€ Personal thoughts:
I've been inlove with the UFO for quite some time and i thought I needed a bigger next level push for my skin which is making it brighter and plumper. Vit C which comes mostly in serum, cream, powder forms do work too but, well oil was a good combination too. Also since it's a dry oil which doesn't make you feel so greasy but leaves that extra glowy skin look. It did gave me a brighter healthier glow even i use it only every other days.
If there's anything I don't like about it, is probably the scent. It's not sooo bad but I wouldn't say I like it either. Also the price point, as usual, as sunday riley is a very expensive brand. I got mine when I bought the Pro vitamins kit vol.1 which includes,
π Rapid flash brightening serum
π CEO glow
π Auto correct brightening depuffing eye cream
π CEO vit c rich hydration cream
I've been using them, and i love the whole team. For the whole set priced at 110sgd (3905php or so)(113sgd for 35ml and 56sgd for 15ml) itβs on the expensive side. But since you only need 3-4 drops at a time, it lasts forever.
DO I RECOMMEND IT?
If you got the money for it, it's a YES. But you know, it's really expensive, and it makes me rethink a lot. I still got other brands to try and i hope I'd find another one that has a better price, but for now, I guess id be sticking to it.
