The more I used this moisturizer, the more I fell in love with it. I like to squeeze the product out of the tube and put it on the back of my hand before I begin applying it to my face. I have very dry skin and I tend to get a lot of dry, red patches on my face during the winter. At first, I was worried this product would be too lightweight for me, based on how it initially felt on my hand. Once I applied it to my face however, I could really feel just how rich the product was. It took some time for the product to warm up and melt into the skin but once it did, my skin felt moisturized for hours. It also really helped to soothe and calm the red patches on my face. At first, the product looks almost matte when you apply it but once it warms up, it leaves behind a beautiful glow.
The downside for me is the aluminum packaging. Now, I enjoy when a brand makes an effort to use more sustainable packaging. However, the several times I have had to use a product in aluminum packaging, I've always had some kind of problem with it. Either I can't get all of the product out, the packaging tears and product starts leaking, the aluminum pokes or scratches me, etc. It's especially frustrating when the key for products like this is sold separately. I believe the key should always come with the product so you can get the most out of what you purchase. Overall, I'm in love with the formula but due to my experiences with aluminum packaging, I'm unsure as to if I'll repurchase as fussy packaging tends to lower the experience for me. I think I will evaluate that when I finish the tube.
