I bought a couple of things from this brand on a whim for my sister’s birthday, and initially, I was a little hesitant about buying them because I was worried they’d look tacky. Fortunately, that wasn’t the case! These are probably the prettiest items I’ve seen in a makeup collection, so I ended up picking up a few things for myself!
I got the Flower Knows Strawberry Rococo Series Cloud Lip Cream in the shade S06 Tea Break and haven’t seen many reviews on this. I’m so glad I picked it up because it’s a unique, wearable shade. It’s not like the typical brown/rosy nudes I tend to reach for, and it’s such a beautiful color on its own. One thing I’ll note: Chinese makeup brands don’t hold back on lip colors or make them orange-tinted, as I’ve seen with some Korean makeup brands. They’re arguably more wearable across different skin tones, which I loved.
What It Is:
- A soft lip cream
- Contains 3.5 grams of product
- Retails for $20 USD
- Purpose: to offer a totally new lipstick experience with a velvety matte formula
Rating: 4.5/5
💄 One thing I can’t get enough of is how soft the formula is! It literally feels like applying clouds on your lips. Not only does it feel good, but it also makes the lips look amazing.
💄 I got this in the shade S06 Tea Break, which I would describe as a muted neutral brown with a slightly purplish, rosy undertone. It’s a sophisticated, warm yet neutral shade that I associate with the colder seasons.
💄 The velvety matte formula smooths over any creases on the lips. I would opt for more shades if they ever expand the range. I’m not into the red tones at all, so I haven’t tried those. However, I may try S03 Caffe Mocha, as that shade also caught my interest.
💄 The packaging of this is stunning. It has a good amount of weight to it, and it does not look tacky at all in person. It also reminds me of a vintage piece. I loved the Strawberry Rococo line, and the performance of these products did not disappoint.
