As I read the back of the packaging (using an English translator since I can’t read Korean, obviously 🤪), it stated that it should be used on dry hair
After doing some research online on this hair cream, I found out that it actually:
🔸️ Can be used as a heat protectant to prevent heat damage
🔸️ Provides rich nutrients and vitality to distressed hair
🔸️ Can be applied whenever needed, including before and after blow-drying
And I was like, ohhhh, so it can be applied before using a hair dryer! I rechecked the information on the packaging, and it actually states: "Apply an appropriate amount of the product to the ends of the hair BEFORE or AFTER drying to finish."
Oh boy, I totally misread it! Previously, I only noticed the "AFTER DRYING" part and completely overlooked the word "BEFORE." My bad! Apologies! 🙇♀️
Okay, I’m being honest here. I didn’t like this hair cream. Totally not to my liking. Let me tell you why
Back in December last year, I cut my hair and had a hair treatment. As such, my hair is currently soft and healthy, without much split ends issue
I tried applying it after drying my hair with a hair dryer. My hair, which was soft before, suddenly looked wet, felt a bit stiff, and seemed heavy? 😳
And the scent! Oh gosh, it smells weird?! It claims to have sweet and sour citrus notes combined with heavy herbal and woody notes. I can tolerate the citrus scent, but not the herbal and woody ones. So, this is purely my personal preference. You might feel differently
I tried using it a few more times with the same method, but I still wasn’t satisfied with the results
The verdict after using it before blow-drying is that my hair feels somewhat soft. But honestly, it was much softer before applying the product. It also looks less shiny (I tested this on both myself and my child; our hair was noticeably shinier before using the cream). Our hair feels weighed down rather than light and bouncy too
I really tried to stay positive about it, but I just can't. Sadly, this product isn't for me
