Cellus Deep Moisture Cream

product review positives
This has been a favorite ever since I tested it in a store in Manhattan in 2023. I’ve already repurchased it, so winning a mini from a giveaway was a cute surprise! It has a shea butter-like texture when scooped but smooths out beautifully, absorbs well, and gives a semi-dewy finish. I have combo skin that leans normal in the winter, and I consider this one of my top 3 winter moisturizers. This cream might not be a favorite for everyone, as it does feel a bit thick, but I love it because it hydrates my skin adequately without feeling clogged. I rate this 5/5 for the following reasons: 🤍 It hydrates so well that I don’t suffer from winter eczema like I have in the past, especially around my under eyes. It’s that hydrating and doesn’t feel pore-clogging. 🤍 The scent is very pleasant—light and slightly citrusy with herbal notes. Note that this isn’t an essential oil-free formula, which was a bit unexpected for me since my face didn’t react at all. 🤍 This is generally fungal acne-safe, but if you need to avoid jojoba esters or synthetic beeswax, you might want to skip this to avoid triggering anything. Patch-test if needed.
product review negatives
For me personally, nothing bad happened. However, be aware that this isn’t essential oil free, so if you have sensitive skin, you might want to patch test this.
